i all!
We're thrilled to announce Greenwich Arts Academy's new online home!
There's a lot of new content here, and more being added all the time. We're particularly excited about our new blog. (Which is where you are now of course!) We will feature not only articles for students and parents, announcements (such as this one), interesting news about the arts and music in general... but also a brand-new Academy Showcase, where we'll be featuring the artistic, creative work of our students and staff. We'll be updating the blog regularly, and often. :-)
We'll also be featuring our students when they complete their musical ladder tests. Nothing like a trophy to get a child motivated and excited about learning and achieving!
The musical ladder system is awesome: we are the only music school in Greenwich that gives its students the opportunity to earn special color wristband bracelets (kids and teens love them!), trophies AND certificates for passing musical tests.
Do other schools offer trophies and certificates? A few. But none of them inspire their students with smiling faces by giving them full color, really cool “Musical Ladder®” wristbands and trophies that they can show off to their friends. The Musical Ladder® is a unique method of music education and Greenwich Arts Academy is one of the few schools on the East Coast that offers it.
More importantly, when our students have a test coming up, they practice more, their parents are proud, their teachers are proud, and everybody wins. You can only get the Musical Ladder® here.
We're also proud to present our completely new monthly online newsletter. Lots of great new content here! We'd like to particularly highlight our local news section -- this one is for our beloved moms and dads. Every month we're curating a great selection of cool local events and happenings that families with kids of all ages will love.
We'd also like to shine a spotlight on Yiayia's Recipe Box.
When Academy co-founder Miss Mary was little, her Yiayia Vicky made many marvelous dishes for her after school. These were hand-written on notecards and kept in a lovely wooden box. Each month we present a selection of these treasured recipes, from Yiayia Vicky and other Yiayias around the world. Of course, you can view and download all our recipes on our recipes page.
So there's a lot to enjoy at our new site. Please bookmark and visit often!
